Both Peter and Nigel have worked in the motor industry all their lives and the Chertsey Minors story began with Nigel's own Morris. It's a 1968 traveller which was bought by his uncle when it was only a few months old. It remained in daily use transporting building materials until its final demise in 1987 when it was found to be beyond economical repair (the term "rotten from the door handles down" certainly applied to this car). It stood for a further three years until the restoration work was started in 1990. It finally went back on the road in Spring 1997. This car was never intended to be a show car. We just attended a few shows and then people started to ask us whether we would carry out work on their cars.

and so Chertsey Minors was born!

We started off in this wooden shed all those years ago

.........and from tiny acorns, this is us today - a double workshop with dedicated area for paint spraying

Between Peter and I, we have over 50 years of experience in the motor industry.
We can make your classic car aspirations come true, provided we have a reasonable budget and timescale to see the project through. Give us a call and have a chat.

We are based just 5 minutes off Junction 11 of the M25
